Decisions about dyslexia assessment, identification, and placement into the most appropriate educational setting are made by a committee of informed educators at the student's campus. This process begins at the Campus Intervention Assistance Team level. If a decision to assess is made, the Section 504 procedures are followed. The assessment is conducted by a trained dyslexia teacher.
